Over the past few years, UNA-Orlando has grown into an organization that is capable of addressing global issues on a local level. These issues include economic inequality, refugees and displaced populations, art and social justice, gender inequality, and many more (use the Featured Issues tab at the top of this and other pages to see all the issues).
Here is a little of what you can expect to happen during 2020-2021:
- We will continue to build Model UN programs in schools throughout Central Florida
- We will continue to inform ourselves on matters of global and local importance and make the information available on the UNA-Orlando website
- We will continue to hold monthly public forums to discuss one of our Featured Issues each month
- We will continue to build our special projects, including the New Neighbors Project and the Sport for Peace Project
- We will continue to support partner organizations in their efforts to achieve their goals
If you are interested in being part of all that we will do in 2020-2021, complete, consider the following:
