REFUGEES IN AMERICA
According to the Migration Policy Institute, the United States is the world’s top resettlement country for refugees. For people living in repressive or conflict-embroiled nations, or those who are members of vulnerable social groups in countries around the world, migration is often a the only means of survival and—for those most at risk—resettlement is key to safety. This is the core reason as to why refugees are forced to relocate and why the U.S. is one of the top countries to flee to.
