CLIMATE CRISIS AND CLIMATE DENIALINTRO
Climate change has become one of the most threatening issues of our time. The shifting of weather patterns are becoming threats to food production, rising sea levels, and increasingly destructive natural disasters. The impact of climate change is far reaching, and many have began to fear the consequences of failing to take action. Recognizing that we have had an average global temperature increase of 0.85°C is critical to understanding all the observable effects that climate change has had on the environment and the well-being of humans. Denial of climate change and refusal to attribute disastrous environmental change to climate change has made it increasingly difficult for governments to implement substantial change and reach climate change goals.
