mexico and central america
None of the countries in Mexico and Central America are at war. However, violence in the region is worse than the violence in many parts of the world that are actually at war. The blame often goes to the drug cartels or the police, but the situation is much more complex than a simple war on drugs. The end result is extraordinarily high murder rates with a tendency towards extreme brutality. Beyond murder, all other forms of violent crime are out of control as well. The entire region is filled with drugs and guns - and money. With endless profits to be made, the solution in Mexico and Central America seems to have no solution.
