REFUGEES AND DISPLACED POPULATIONS
INTROA refugee is defined by UNHCR as someone who has had to flee his or her country because of persecution, war, or violence. Refugees around the world fear being persecuted for reasons of race, religion, nationality, and more. Data shows that 1 out of every 110 people are displaced. Furthermore, two thirds of all refugees come from five countries: Syria, Afghanistan, South Sudan, Myanmar, and Somalia.
