XInjiang: Ethnic cleansing
Xinjiang, a region previously controlled by the Qing Dynasty in China, is currently identified as the Uighur Autonomous Region. However, the People's Republic of China has been looking to change title ever since Xinjiang received their new status in 1949. The Uighur Muslims would be forced from their homes, undergo strict surveillance, and sent to reeducation camps to erase their religion. As the Uighur Muslims disappear, they are replaced by the Han (Chinese). This ethnic cleansing continues as the whole world watches.
