HOMELESSNESS

Generally defined as “an individual or family who lacks a fixed, regular, and adequate nighttime residence” by 42 U.S. Code 11302, homelessness is a worsening problem in the United States. The main reasons for homelessness are the lack of affordable housing, poverty, unemployment, and insufficient wages.
