UNA-Orlando operates in accordance with the mission shared by UNA-USA, UNF, and BWF/BWC, which is to: a) strengthen the United Nations system, b) inform, inspire, and mobilize Americans to support the principles and vital work of the United Nations, c) encourage U.S. leadership to work constructively through the United Nations, d) encourage citizens to achieve the goals of the United Nations Charter, e) educate the American public about the invaluable work of the United Nations, f) raise funds, g) carry out local activities related to the United Nations, and f) recruit, engage, and retain members.
