HOURS AND ACTIVITY
Reason for completing the Hours and Activity Form
The purpose of the UNA-Orlando reporting page is to help students stay organized and to help build an activity portfolio. There are many benefits to completing this form gradually as you progress through your program.
It is helpful to your UNA-Orlando internship manager. It happens often that your contact at UNA-Orlando doesn't hear from a student for a long period of time and assumes the student is doing nothing or has quit altogether then learns at a later time that the student has working steadily and has had many accomplishments. Also, in times when there is collaboration among a group of people, all members of the team can be aware of which portions of a project have been completed or not completed.
It is helpful to UNA-Orlando and to school officials at times when a school official asks to verify details on a student's progress. When that happens, the information from the Hours and Activity form will be readily available.
It is helpful to student's future self, either in the immediate future when reporting hours and activity to school officials or the distant future when the then former student needs to refresh his/her memory of what they did during their time with UNA-Orlando and what their accomplishments were. This is particularly helpful when creating a resume or preparing for job interviews.

With this in mind, remember to include any time spent preparing to attend or engage in UNA-Orlando event or activity and any time spent with followup after the event or activity.
Be descriptive but brief. Use the fewest words possible to describe the completed activity but use enough words that
